The VAT Department would like to inform VAT registered persons that it is reviewing its procedure regarding the issue of new fiscal receipt books. In the case of a newly registered person, as a general policy, the Department would only issue two receipt books and subsequently one new book is to be supplied only where the old book is returned. In the case of existing registered persons only one additional receipt book would be supplied against the return of an old receipt book.

The extended online services offered by the VAT Department may be accessed by using the enhanced version of the Electronic Identity (e-ID) which makes use of digital certificates.
